Register bus tapes

How to register bus tapes on the ITk component database

Using the web interface

  • Go to https://itkpd-test.unicorncollege.cz/ and log in
  • Click “My Components” on the menu on the right
  • Click on the blue “Register” button
  • Fill out the details of the bus tape. The Component Type is ‘Bus Tape’. The ATLAS Serial Number must be set manually following the rules described in the box below.
  • At the moment you are asked to enter a “Bus Tape Prototype” and “Petal Tape Pre-Production”. These are Batch Types. If you wish to log which batch a tape comes from, you can enter something here. I just entered ‘NA’ for these.
  • Click “Register”
  • After registering a tape, you can set the stage, which is initially set to ‘Bare’, but can be changed to ‘Co-cured’, and ‘Tape on stave/petal’.
  • To upload a test data file, click on the ‘+’ next to ‘Attachments’.
  • To create and enter the key results of an electrical or stave test, click on the ‘+’ next to Tests
